About ZeroW
Powerlifting Coaching and Education. A Network of Gyms Worldwide.
Founded by Thomas Lilley in 2012.
The ZeroW Story
ZeroW was created in 2012 to help people find a greater purpose through strength. We started as a physical gym with a mission to make strength training and powerlifting more available and appealing to the average person.
With a strong focus on attention to detail and customer service and satisfaction, ZeroW quickly became leaders in powerlifting across the world. From 2020 to now, ZeroW has expanded from 1 gym to 11 gyms worldwide, as well as having online coaching. Seeing a gap in education in powerlifting, we created the ZeroW Coach Development Course to provide high-quality education for coaches. With the expansion of our gyms, we realised that powerlifting equipment quality lacked worldwide, so we started manufacturing our own powerlifting equipment, which we now sell worldwide.

What we believe
We believe being strong makes life better. Not just for competitive powerlifters or elite athletes, but for anyone who wants to move better, feel more capable, and show up stronger in every area of their life. Our mission is to make strength training cool, and to build the kind of gyms, coaching, and community that make people actually want to do it.
Whether in a gym or online, ZeroW is designed to be the “third place” – somewhere between home and work where you belong. A second family. A community where familiar faces, shared goals, and a love of strength training bring people together.
Powerlifting Coaching Results
Our coaching speaks for itself: we have produced more 1000kg totals than any other coaching business in the world, with athletes from every background, experience level, and walk of life. We’ve produced the number one powerlifter of all-time, Colton Engelbrecht, as well as several other champions.

Thomas understands the sport of powerlifting intimately through having fulfilled multiple roles including athlete, coach, gym owner, international referee, federation owner, equipment manufacturer, host of multiple podcasts and more.
What started as just a genuine love of lifting weights has blossomed into a global powerlifting brand, built on a reputation of world-class coaching, genuine community and a refusal to cut corners.
