What are your qualifications?Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, Certificate 3 and 4 in fitness and the ZeroW Coach Development Course. 

How many years have you been strength training? 10 years 

What are your best sporting achievements? Competing at ProRaw and squatting and deadlifting over 300kg in competition. I’ve competed in bodybuilding in 2018 in Australia and overseas. I’ve also played top representative hockey in New Zealand.  

Why do you love training? I am a competitive person. Training allows me to challenge my body and my mind. 

What do you specialise in coaching clients for? I specialise in powerlifting and all types of strength training. I have a passion for helping clients with injuries, to help them move and feel better. 

Why do you love coaching? I love coaching because I love helping people whether it’s helping someone squat 300kgs or someone squat just the barbell for the first time. It’s very rewarding when my clients move well, feel good and enjoy training. 

What do you want new clients to know about you? I am very patient and technique focussed. I will always make sure you are moving correctly and pain-free before we add weight to the bar 

Why should a new client get coached by you? I am extremely passionate about what I do and I will do everything I can to help you achieve your goals.

Brooke Vick

Owner and Strength Coach

What are your qualifications? Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness and the ZeroW Coach Development Course. 

How many years have you been strength training? I’ve been powerlifting for almost 10 years 

What are your best sporting achievements? I’ve competed at the top powerlifting competitions in Australia, including ProRaw and Wild Cats, as well as multiple national championships. My best lifts are a 215kg squat, 115kg bench press and 200kg deadlift.  

Why do you love training? What I have learned from strength training is that not only am I strong, but also that I needed to stop underestimating myself, be patient, and always be persistent. Strength training has also made me so much more confident. I take pride in my strength, myself, my body, and my journey. I’m not ‘strong for a girl’, I’m just strong! 

What do you specialise in coaching clients for? As powerlifting has been my passion for so many years, I love helping my clients get on the platform for the first time and watching them progress. I also understand that not everyone has that competitive side to them, so if just getting stronger and healthier is your goal, then I would love to help.  

Why do you love coaching? The satisfaction of helping others and witnessing their progress is incredibly rewarding. Also, the satisfaction I get when a client tells me that, since training with me, their backs or knees don’t hurt for the first time in years. I love the lifelong friends I have made from coaching and the PB’s I have helped get! 

What do you want new clients to know about you? I have almost 20 years of experience as a reputable trainer. I have a solid knowledge of how the body works and practical experience in designing and implementing training programs. 

Why should a new client get coached by you? I will help you set goals that are realistic for you and your current lifestyle. As a mother of two (with another one on the way), I completely understand that people are busy with work and families. Working out 2 to 3 times a week is better than not at all. I can help you set goals that you can consistently commit to. Small, consistent changes will lead to lasting results.

Eva Kristel Ibrus

Strength Coach

What are your qualifications? Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness, ZeroW Coach Development Course 

How many years have you been strength training? Just over 2 years. 

What are your best sporting achievements? Hitting a 2x bodyweight deadlift in my first ever competition definitely felt like a nice achievement! Outside of lifting I have done a fair bit of dancing and even won a few competitions here and there. 

Why do you love training? I have always loved challenging my limits in different ways. And we only get given one body so we might as well take good care of it and make it as strong as we can. 

What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Helping people build strength and improve body composition. 

Why do you love coaching? I love seeing how gaining strength and skills in the gym also makes people feel so much more confident in themselves in their everyday lives. 

What do you want new clients to know about you? As a coach I will not make you do anything that you aren’t comfortable doing so no need to be scared to start sessions! I will make your sessions fit your goals and abilities and I promise it will be fun!  

Why should a new client get coached by you? I believe that I can help you reach your goals while keeping the sessions enjoyable and fun.
