What are your qualifications? Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition, Level 1 and 2 Community Athletics Coach, ZeroW Coach Development Course and ZeroW Nutrition Coaching Course
How many years have you been Strength training? 10 years
What are your best sporting achievements? I’ve been a competitive National and International level track runner. In powerlifting, at u60kg I’ve achieved a 474.40 DOTs. I’ve competed at multiple ProRaw competitions and National Championships.
Why do you love training? I love training for the fact I “get to train”, and having a healthy capable body that I can challenge and push to limits. Training constantly keeps me true to my values and morals.
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Strength and conditioning coaching, powerlifting coaching, nutrition Coaching, body composition/bodybuilding and sports specific coaching/programming. I also offer mobility/Yoga coaching.
Why do you love coaching? Because I get to help people! I love guiding people to achieve their goals and reframing their confidence, knowledge and mindset around training.
What do you want new clients to know about you? I’m passionate about my training. I’m a yogi, plantsman, and I love animals/dogs and the history of dog breeds. I spend my spare time with friends/family, reading, watching sport, and being outdoors in the sun.
Why should a new client get coached by you? To get strong and build an insane physique! To have structure and guidance throughout one’s training. And to build knowledge and confidence around training.
Jamie Timms
Co-manager and Strength Coach
What are your qualifications? Bachelor of Health Science, Strength and Conditioning. I’m also 2 years through an Exercise Physiology degree. I’ve completed the ZeroW Coach Development Course.
How many years have you been strength training? 10
What are your best sporting achievements? Competed at a state level for cross country and water polo.
Why do you love training? It’s the primary reason I’m still able to do what I love doing into my 30s.
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Strength and conditioning for any reason, but especially for sports performance and general health and fitness.
Why do you love coaching? I love being able to improve the lives of those who I come into contact with. I enjoy taking someone from a point of pain to one where movement is accessible again.
What do you want new clients to know about you? I love reading, football (soccer), climbing, art and music. I spend most of my time outside the gym pursuing these elements.
Why should a new client get coached by you? I’m open minded and willing to listen to what’s important to you. From there, I’ll use my knowledge in the field to help you achieve those goals.
Andrew Olm
Co-manager and Strength Coach
What are your qualifications? ZeroW Coach Development Course and a Certificate III in Fitness.
How many years have you been strength training? I’ve been in the gym strength training for various sports for 20+ years. I’ve been powerlifting now for 8 of those years.
What are your best sporting achievements? I’ve podiumed in 3 consecutive APL Nationals events, as well as getting a podium spot at the 2022 IPL World Powerlifting Championships.
Why do you love training? I love being strong and love the progression that comes with continuous consistency to training over time. I also love the mental and physical benefits that come with it.
What do you specialise in coaching clients for? Powerlifting and Strength Training.
Why do you love coaching? I love seeing people succeed. Whether it be a competition PB, a small win in the gym, or the confidence you gain outside of the gym from training. It’s addictive to see people succeed in their training.
What do you want new clients to know about you? Outside of the gym I’m a massive comic book and pop culture geek. I love getting outside for hikes and keeping active.
Why should a new client get coached by you? I’ll be your number one supporter. I want you to feel that additive success that comes from training hard and I’ll help you any way I can to achieve it!
